Ok for about 450 you might be able to get a lightened flywheel doesn't give you any extra power but makes you quiker out of the corners, also you could get a stage two cam shaft, this should work. ;D

you can go with a stage 2 cam which would either be zex or comp cam. If you go with comp cam I believe that they only have the stage 1 and 2 for your car but if you go with the stage 2 you HAVE to change your springs and they will tell you which ones($150) plus the cam will be about $200 because I bought one awhile back and it tells you that you must change springs. Me personally I would go with a VTEC head like off a d16y8 (it takes more parts then just a head but its under $450 total). I can't remeber if yours has VTEC or not. A vtec head done right will gain you about 28 horsepower. Once this is done then I would mess with flywheel which in return will give you fater revs and better gear engagement which is a must have when racing. Having better grip meaning a good clutch and flywheel will actually make your car feel like it has more horsepower. good luck

first you have to get the head. Secong you will need a way to activate VTEC by using either like a APEXI unit that has vtec options on it or a RPM activated switch. Also with the head make sure it has the vtec solenoid on it or you'll have to track that down too. Also it is wise to change out your timing belt. You also have to run the wire for the vtec which is very easy and then run 2 wires for the oil pressure switch which is easy as well. You can also use a ecu that comes from the same car as long as it is OBD2 and this will eliminate having to use a RPM switch. It is a noticable difference
