I'm just going to say 1 thing... Ok, maybe a few. I'm not taking any offense on the PS3 but, since I already have a 360 I am not going to get the PS3. And my satisfactory on sony's game systems has led me to dislike them. Everytime I get a playstation, either the psx ps2 or even the ps3 (still not trying to take an offense, just stating my expiriences) they slack off on the graphics and loading time and each time it breaks right after my 2-year warranty. And I heard it was going to be 500.

I have had a Playstation ever since the first 32-bit rectangled grey thing. It still works like it use to when I was in sixth grade! (I'm a junior in college now). I'm buying their PS3. I bought my PS2 when I was 16, and it still works like it did when I first bought it. Sony makes some pretty durable stuff. The main reason I bought the Playstation was because of the first Gran Turismo. I loved that game ever since it first came out. I liked cars a lot since I was a little kid and I tought that game would be awesome. I say a lot of things huh?

Ya, I loved grand torismo, but I still will buy sony products, just not it's games.

The only problem I had with the PS2 since the beginning, is that it will have trouble reading some of its own games sometimes.

The only problem I had with the PS2 since the beginning, is that it will have trouble reading some of its own games sometimes. that problem was form the laser, what you can do if you have an old one is go on e-bay and order a new laser for like 50 and get it working great again, its well documents all over the internet.

Or, you could open it up and clean the inside with a cotton swab and some q-tips. That's what we did for ours. It worked for twice as long as it did. Oh, and I'm correcting myself, when it broke after the 2year warrenty is when we cleaned it. then it worked until this year, for some reason the whole thing just shut down, you plug it in and flip the switch, light didn't come on when you pressed the botton, no noise, no fans moving. Turns out the power cord on the inside is a flimsy paper thing and somehow completely snaped off. No more PS2, I liked the Xbox better because of Halo and Half-life2 (you know what I'm getting at) so we got the 360. hope it lasts.
